22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I fpeik; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adverfary unto thine adversaries.

23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor ferve them, nor do aiter their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

25 And ye thall ferve the LORD your God, and he thail blefs thy bread, and thy water; and I will take fickness away from the midit of thee.

25 There fhall nothing caft their young, not be barren in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

17 will fend my fear before thee, and will deftroy all the people to whom thou fhalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

28 And I will fend hornets before thee, which thall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee

29 I will not drive them out from before thee if one year; left the land become defolate, and the beall of the field multiply against thee.

30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increafed, and

inherit the land.

31 And I will let thy bounds from the Red fea even unto the fea of the Philifines, and from the defert unto the river: for 1 will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and thou thalt drive them out bétore thee.

32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

33 They shall not dwell in thy land, left they make thee u against me: for if thou

8 And Moles took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and faid, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

9Then went up Mofes, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and feventy of the elders of Ifrael: to And they faw the God or lirael: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire-itone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

12 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Corne up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of ftone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou may eft teach them.

14 And he faid unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: it any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

15 And Mofes went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.

16 And the glory of the Logo abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it fix days: and the feventh day he called unto Mofes out of the midst of the cloud,

17 And the fight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of lfrael.

18 And Moles went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Mofes was in the mount torty days and forty nights.

The form of the ark.

10 And they fhall make an ark of thit tim-wood: two cubits and a halt ball be the length thereof, and a cubit and a halt the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height the reot.

11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without fhalt thou overlay ft, and halt make upon it a crown of gold round about.

12 And thou shalt caft tour rings of gold tor it, and put them in the tour corners thereof; and two rings bull be in the one de cf it, and two rings in the other fide of it.

13 And thou shalt make ftaves of fhittimwood, and overlay them with gold.

14 And thou shalt put the flaves into the rings by the fides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

15 The itaves fhall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.

16 And thou fhalt put into the ark the teftimony which hall give thee.

17 And thou shalt make a mercy-feat of pure gold: two cubits and a half ball be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, In the two ends of the mercy-feat.

19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end even of the mercy-teat thall ye make the cheruDims on the two ends thereos.

20 And the cherubims thall fretch forth wings on high, covering the mercy-feat

with their wings, and their faces shall look

une to another; toward the mercy-feat fhall the races of the cherubims be.

21 And thou shalt put the mercy-feat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the teftimony that I thall give thee.

22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy-fest, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the teftimony, of all things which I will give thee in command ment unto the children of Ifrael.

23 Thou thalt alfo make a table of shit. tim-wood: two cubits fhall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

24 And thou that overlay with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about. 25 And thou shalt make unto it a border an hand-breath round about, and thou thalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.

26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the sour cor ners that are on the four feet thereof.

27 Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the ftaves to bear the table. 28 And thou shalt make the faves of thit. fin. wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them."

The tabernacle.

29 And thou shalt make the dishes there's of, and spoons thereor, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure” gold thalt thou make them.

30 And thou thalt fet upon the table thew.. bread before me alway.

31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of v pure gold: of beaten work fhall the candlefick be made: his thatt, and his branches, his bowls, lus knops, and his flowers, fhali – be of the fame.

32 And fix branches thall come out of the fides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one fide, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other fide:

33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knopand a flower: fo in the fix branches that come out of the can dieftick.

34 And in the candieftick all be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.

35 And there fall be a knop under two branches of the fame, and a knop under two branches of the fame, and a knop under two branches of the fame, according to the fix branches that proceed out of the candLeftick.

35 Their knops and their branches thall be of the fame: all of it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

37 And thou shalt make the feven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps there. of, that the may give light over against it..

38 And the tongs thereor, and the fnutfdishes thereot, fail be of pure grid.

2 The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth or one curtain four cubits and every one of the curtains that have one measure.

3 The five curtains, fhall be coupled toge ther one to another; and other five curtains Shall be coupled one to another.

4 And thou shalt make loops of blue up. on the edge of the one curtain from the telvedge in the coupling; and likewife fhalt thou make in the utermoft edge of anorber curtain, in the coupling or the second.

s Fifty loops fhalt thou make in the one curtain, and nity loops halt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coup. ling of the fecond; that the loops may take

hold one of another..

6 And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.

7 And thou thalt make curtains of goats' bair, to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven cur.ains thalt thou make.

11. And thou shalt make nity ta :hes of brafs, End put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.

12 And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the halt-curtain that reDimeth, shail, hang over the back-fide of

the tabernacle.

13 And a cubit on the one fide, and a cunft on the other fide of that which remiaeth in the length of the curtains of the test, it thall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this fide and on that fide, to

cover it.

14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent / tams' ikins died red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.

15 And thou fhait make boards for the tabernacle of shittin-wood standing up.

16 Ten cubits ball be the length of a board, and a cubit and an half ball be the breadth of one bouri.

22 And for the ades of the tabernacle weftward thou that make fix boards,

23 And two boards fhalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two fides.

24 And they thail be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus fhall it be for them both; they fhall be for

the two corners.

25 And they shall be eight boards, and their fockets of filver, fixteen fockets; two fockets under one board, and two fockets under another board.

2 And thou shalt make bars of hittim. wood; five for the boards of the one tide of the tabernacle,

27 and five bars for the boards of the other fide of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tide of the tabernacle, for the two files westward.

8 And the middle bar in the midft of the boards thall reach from end to end.

2) And thou thalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou that overlay the bars with gold.

The altar of barnt-offering:.

30 And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the tathion thereo which was thewed thee in the mount.

31And thou shal, make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and nine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims fhail it be made:

32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of hittim-wood overiaid with gold: their hooks fall be of gold, upon the four fockets of filver.

33 And thou shalt hang up the veil under the taches, that thou mayeft bring in chacher within the veil the ark of the teftimony: and the veil thall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.

34 And thou shalt put the mercy-feat upon the ark of the teftimony in the most holy place.

35 And thou shalt fet the table without the veil, and the candieftick over against the ta ble on the fide of the tabernacle toward the fouth and thou shalt put the table on the north fide.

3 And thou halt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and fearlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needle-work.

37 And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of hittim-wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks ball be of gold: and thou thalt cait five fockets of Brass for them.

CHA P. XXVII.

The altar of burnt-offering, with the veffels. 9 The court of the tabernacle. 20 The oil for the lamp.

AND thou shalt make an altar of hittim. wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar thall be four-iquare: and the height thereor ball be three cubas.

2 And thou thalt make the horns of it up On the our corners thereot: his horns thall be of the fame: and thou shalt overlay it with brais.

3. And thou shalt make his pans to receive his afhes, and his shovels, and his batons, and his leth- hooks, and his fire-pans: ali the veilels thereof thou shalt make of brass.

4 And thou shalt make for it a grace of net-work of brafs; and upon the net fhalt thou make four brafen rings in the tour cor. ners thereof.

5 And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.

6. And thou that make taves for the altar, ftaves of hittim-wood, and overlay them with brats.

7 And the itaves fhall be put into the rings, and the staves fhall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.

8 Hollow with boards thalt thou make it : as it was thewed thee in the mount, to thall they make it.

And thou thalt make the court of the tabernacle for the fouth fide fouthward there fhall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long, for one tide.

10 And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty fockets baile of brais; the hooks of the pillars and heir fillets bali be ofiilver.

14 The hangings of one fide of the gate all be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their lockets three.

15 And on the other fide all be hangings fifteen cubits their pillars three, and their fockets three.

16 And for the gate of the court hall be an hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and fearlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needle-work: and their pillars fbait be four, and their fockets four.

17 All the pillars round about the court fall be billeted with silver; their hooks ball be filver, and their fockets of brafs.

18 The length of the court fall be an hundred cubits, and the breadth fiaty every where, and the height five cubits, of nine twined linen, an their fockets of orafs.

19 All the veffels of the tabernacle in all the fervice thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, fhall be of brafs.

20 And thou shalt command the children of Ifrael, that they bring thee pure or-olive beaten for the light, to caufe the lamp to burn always.

21 In the tabernacle of the congregation without the veil, which is before the teftimony, Aaron and his fons fhall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it hall be a statue for ever unto their genera tions on the behalf of the children of Ifrael. CHAP. XXVIII.

ND take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his fons with him, from among the children of Ifrael, that he may miniter unto me in the prieft's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's fons.

2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. 3 And thou shalt fpeak unto all that are wife-hearted, whom I have filled with the fpirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to confecrate him, that he may minifter unto me in the prieft's office.

4 And thefe are the garments which they fhall make; a breaft-plate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his fons, that he may minister unto me in the prie's othce.

5 And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and fearlet, and fine linen.

And they hall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of fcarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work. 7 It hall have the two thoulder-pieces thereo jomed at the two edges thereof; and fo it fhall be joined together. 8 And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the fame, according of the work therect; even of gold, le, and fearlet, and fine

9 And thou shalt take two onyx-ftones and grave on them the names of the chil

dren of Ifrael:

TO Six of their names on one ftone, and the other fix names of the reft on the other ftone, according to their birth.

11 With the work of an engraver in ftone, like the engravings of a tignet, thalt thou engrave the two tones with the names of the children of Ifrael: thou shalt make them to be fet in ouches of gold.

12 And thou shalt put the two ftones upon the thoulders of the ephod for tones of remorial unto the children of Ifrael: and Aaron thall bear their names before the LORD upon his two thoulders for a memorial.

13 And thou shalt make ouches of gold; 14 And two chains of pure gold at the ends; of wreathen work fhalt thou make them, and fatten the wreathen chains to the ouches.

15 And thou shalt make the breast-plate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou that make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of fearlet, and of fine twined linen, thalt thou make it.

16 Four-fquare it thall be, being doubled; a fpan fhall be the length thereof, and a ipan fhall be the breadth thereof.

17 And thou shalt fet in it settings of ftones, even tour rows of ftones: the tiri row fall be a fardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle : this fall be the first row.

18 And the fecond row fa!! be an eme rald, a fapphire, and a diamond.

19 And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyft.

34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden beil and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the rube round about.

35. And it shall be upon Aaron to minifter: and his found thall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the LORD, and - when he cometh out, that he die not.

36¶ And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings ot a fignet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the fore-tront of the mitre it shall be.

38 And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the chil tren of Ifrael fhail haflow in all their holy gifts; and it thall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.

39 And thou falt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou that make the mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needle-work.

40 And for Aaron's fons thou shalt make coats." and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets halt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.

41 And thou that put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his fons with him; and (halt anoint them, and confecrate them, and fanctity them, that they may miniter unto me in ⚫the prief's once.

42 And thou that make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even. unto the thighs they shall reach :

43 And they fhall be upon Aaron, and upon his fons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minifler in the holy place; that they bear not imquity, and die: 11 ball be a statute for ever unto him and his feed after him.

Ia And thou thalt caufe a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congre. gaton: and Aaron and his fons thall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.

11 And thou halt kill the bullock before the Loan, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

12 And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and pour all the blood belide the bottom of the altar.

13 And thou that take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul that is above the iver, and the two kitneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.

14 But the flesh of the bullock, and his kin and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire with out the camp: it is a lin-oitering.

15 Thou shalt alfo take one ram; and Aaron and his fons thall put their hands upon

the head of the ram.

And thou thale flay the ram, and thou thalt take his blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.

17 And thoufhalt cut the ram in pieces, and wath the inwar is of him, and his legs, and put them unto his pieces, and unto his head.

18 And thou that burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering unto the LORD: i is a fwect favour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

19 And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his fons fhall put their hands upon the head of the ram

20 Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blooi, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his fons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right icot, and fprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

21 And thou that take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and

fprinkle if upon Aaron, and upon his gar ments, and upon his lons, and upon the gar ments or his ons with him: and he thall be hallowed, and his garments, and his fons, and his fons' garments with him.

22 Alfo thou shalt take of the ram the fat and
