Prov. xxviii, 12. When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.

Prov. xxix, 2, 14. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.

2 Chron. xxviii, 2. For he [Ahaz] walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten 1 Sam. xii, 25.
