by thou wilt be guilty of his Perdition: For it is not fair to be too hafty in cafting out an Offender, but flow in receiving him when he returns; to be forward in cutting off, but unmerciful when he is forrowful, and ought to be healed. For of fuch as thefe fpeaks the Divine Scripture, Their Feet run Prov.i. 16, to Mischief, they are hafty to Ifa. lix. 7. fhed Blood; Destruction and Plal xxxv. Will you not be confronted with your ownwords, when you fay you forgive, and do not forgive? For know ye, that he who cafts out one who has not behav'd himfelf wickedly, or who will not receive him that returns, is a Murtherer of his Brother, and fheds his Blood, as Cain did that of his Gen.iv.10 Brother Abel; and his Blood cries to God, and will be requir'd. For a righteous Man unjuftly flain by any one, will be in Reft with God for ever. The fame is the Cafe of him who without Caufe is feparated by his Bilhop.
