FOR STRENGTH AND PATIENCE.

My heart is sore pained within me, and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.

Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.PSALM lv. 4, 5.

My soul melteth for very heaviness; strengthen Thou me according unto Thy word.-PSALM cxix. 28.

Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.-PSALM vi. 2.

FOR STRENGTH AND PATIENCE.

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the Lord.-PSALM xxvii. 14.

In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength and my refuge is in God.-PSALM lxii. 7.

My grace is sufficient for thee; for My strength is made perfect in weakness.-2 COR. xii. 9, first clause.

O Lord, how long shall I cry, and Thou wilt not hear?- HABAKKUK i. 2, first clause.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.-PSALM CXXi. 1, 2.

Hide not Thy face far from me; put not Thy servant away in anger; Thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.-PSALM xxvii. 9.

I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.-MICAH Vii. 7.

Cast not away your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry.—HEB. x. 35-37.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.-ISAIAH xli. 10.

Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid; neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.-JOSHUA i. 9.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold the husband
