shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.-ST. JOHN xvi. 33.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you.

And ye shall seek Me, and ye shall find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.-JER. xxix. 11—13.

Then He (Jesus) saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a great calm. - St. MATT. viii. 26.

And I said, Oh, that I had wings like a a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.-PSALM lv. 6.

O Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in Thine anger, lest Thou bring me to nothing.-JER. x. 24.

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.-Rom. xii. 18.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

There the wicked cease from troubling ; and there the weary be at rest.—2 COR. v. 1. JOB iii. 17.

For whom the Lord loveth He correcteth even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness, unto them which are exercised thereby.-PROV. iii. 12. HEB. xii. 11.

When a man's ways please the Lord, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.-PROV. xvi. 7.

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.-PSALM Xxxiv. 14.

Put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any even as Christ forgave you so also do ye.

And above all these things, put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.—Col. iii. 12-15.
