Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

MINE eye mourneth by reason of affliction. Lord, I have called upon Thee daily.-PSALM lxxxviii. 9.

If I be bereaved of my children I am bereaved.-GEN. xliii. 14, last clause.

BEREAVEMENT.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.-1 THESS. iv. 13, 14.

In heaven their angels do always behold the face of My Father which is in heaven. -ST. MATT. xviii. 10, last clause.

Wilt Thou show wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise Thee ?— PSALM lxxxviii. 10.

A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation and bitter weeping. Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.JER. xxxi. 15.

Shall the loving-kindness of the Lord be declared in the grave? or Thy faithfulness in destruction.-PSALM lxxxviii. 11.
