I cried with my whole heart: hear me, O Lord I will keep Thy statutes.-PSALM cxix. 145.

Now, I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me.—] xv. 30.

-ROM.

The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him; He also will hear their cry, and I will save them.

The Lord preserveth all them that love Him.-ISAIAH XXX. 18, second and third PSALM cxlv. 18, 19, 20, first

clauses. clause.

Now we know that God heareth not sinners but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth His will, him He heareth. -ST. JOHN ix. 31.

I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.-PHIL. i. 19. ST. JAMES V. 16, last clause.

O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt ?-ST. MATT. xiv. 31, last clause.

Behold the fowls of the air for they sow

:

not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth

them.

Are not ye much better than they?

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say unto you that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith ?-ST. MATT. vi. 26, 27 second and third clauses, 29, 30.

DELIVERANCE

FROM

ADVERSARIES.

DELIVER me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. PSALM Xxvii. 12.

Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.-PSALM XXXV. 1.

O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme Thy Name for ever ?-PSALM lxxiv. 10.
