The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.-ST. JOHN viii. 12. ROM. XV. 13.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him; and He will shew them His covenant.

For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever.-Psalm xxv. 14; xxxvii. 28, to last clause.

God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

That according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.-ST. Matt. xviii. 3. 1 COR. i. 27, 30, 31.

PARDON AND SANCTIFICATION.

I said, Lord, be merciful unto me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against Thee.PSALM xli. 4.

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.-PSALM li. 2,

God be merciful to me a sinner.-ST. LUKE Xviii. 13, last clause.

PARDON AND SANCTIFICATION.

Let Israel hope in the Lord for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. PSALM CXXX. 7, 8.

The blood of Jesus Christ His Son, cleanseth us from all sin.

If we confess our sins, He is just and faithful to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.- 1 ST. JOHN i. 7, last clause, and verse 9.

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came

Enter not into judgment with Thy servant, O Lord, for in Thy sight shall no man living be justified.-PSALM cxliii. 2.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions, according to Thy mercy, remember Thou me for Thy goodness sake, O Lord.-PSALM XXV. 7.

Deliver me from all my transgressions. -PSALM XXXix. 8, first clause.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.-ROM. viii. 1.

I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against Me.-JER. xxxiii.
