My spirit is overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

I stretch forth my hands unto Thee: my soul thirsteth after Thee as a thirsty land. —PSALM Cxliii. 4, 6.

Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: I looked for some to take pity, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none.-PSALM lxix. 20.

Wilt thou not revive us again; that Thy

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.-ROMANS v. 1, 2.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

I will pour out My Spirit unto you, I will make known My words unto you.-ST. JOHN xiv. 27. PROV. i. 23, last clause.

Into Thine hand I commit my spirit. Thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

As a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him.-PSALM xxxi. 5; ciii. 13.

For thus saith the High and Lofty One

people may rejoice in Thee? -- PSALM

lxxxv. 6.

I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim: I water my couch with my tears.

Mine eye is consumed because of my grief.-PSALM vi. 6, 7, first clause.

Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am So troubled I cannot speak.-PSALM lxxvii. 4.

Hear me, O Lord; for Thy loving kind

that inhabiteth eternity, Whose Name is Holy, I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. -ISAIAH lvii. 15.

Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.-ST. MATT. xi. 28-30.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:

Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.—1 ST. PETER v. 6, 7.

Thou hast put gladness in my heart,

ness is good turn unto me according to the multitude of Thy tender mercies.

And hide not Thy face from Thy servant, for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it. PSALM 1xix. 16, 17, 18, 1st clause.

Even to day is my complaint bitter my stroke is heavier than my groaning.

Oh that I knew where I might find Him! -JOB Xxiii. 2, 3.

Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth hide not Thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.-PSALM cxliii. 7.

Make haste, O God, to deliver me: make haste to help me, O Lord.-PSALM 1xx. 1.
