CAPITULO XXII. Y de agua de vida, claro couro cristal, que salia del trono de 2 En el medio de la plaza de ella, y de la una parte y de la otra del rio, estaba el árbol de la vida, que lleva doce frutos, dando cada mes su fruto; y las hojas del árbol eran para la sanidad de las naciones. 3 Y no habrá allí jamás maldicion; sino el trono de Dios, y del Cordero estará en ella, y sus siervos le servirán. 4 Y verán su rostro, y su nombre estará en sus frentes. 5 Y allí no habrá mas noche, y no tienen necesidad de luz de candela, ni de luz de sol; porque el Señor Dios los alumbrará, y reinarán para siempre jamás. 6 Y díjome: Estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas. Y el Señor Dios de los santos profetas ha enviado su ángel, para mostrar á sus siervos las cosas que es necesario que sean hechas presto. 7 He aquí, yo vengo prestamente: Bienaventurado el que guarda las palabras de la profecía de este libro. 8 Y yo Juan soy el que ha oido, y visto estas cosas. Y despues que hube oido y visto, me postré para adorar delante de los piés del ángel que me mostraba estas cosas. 9 Y él me dijo; Mira que no lo hagas, porque yo soy consiervo tuyo, y de tus hermanos los profetas, y de los que guardan las palabras de este libro: Adora á Dios. 10 Y díjome: No selles las palabras de la profecía de este libro; porque el tiempo está cerca. CHAPTER XXII. ND he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. 6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11 El que es injusto, sea in- 11 He that is unjust, let him justo todavía; y el que es sucio, | be unjust still: and he which is ensúciese todavía; y el que es justo, sea aun todavía justificado; y el que es santo, sea aun santificado todavía. 12 Y, he aquí, yo vengo prestamente, y mi galardon está conmigo, para recompensar á cada uno segun fuere su obra. 13 Yo soy el Alpha y la Omega, el principio, y el fin, el primero y el postrero. 14 Bienaventurados los que guardan sus mandamientos, para que tengan derecho al árbol de la vida, y que entren por las puertas en la ciudad. 15 Mas los perros estarán de fuera, y los hechiceros, y los disolutos, y los homicidas, y los idólatras, y cualquiera que ama y hace mentira. 16 Yo Jesus he enviado mi ángel para daros testimonio de estas cosas en las Iglesias: yo soy la raiz y el linage de David, la estrella resplandeciente, y de la mañana. 17 Y el Espíritu, y la esposa dicen: Ven. Y el que oye, diga: Ven. Y el que tiene sed, venga. Y el que quiere, tome del agua de la vida de balde. 18 Porque yo protesto á cualquiera que oye las palabras de la profecía de este libro: Si alguno añadiere á estas cosas, Dios pondrá sobre él las plagas escritas en este libro. 19 Y si alguno disminuyere de las palabras del libro de esta profecía, Dios quitará su parte del libro de la vida, y de la santa ciudad, y de las cosas que están escritas en este libro. 20 El que da testimonio de estas cosas, dice: Ciertamente vengo en breve. Amen: sea así. Ven, Señor Jesus. 21 La gracia de nuestro Señor filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and mak eth a lie. 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly: Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord JeJesu Cristo sea con todos voso-sus Christ be with you all. Amen. tros. Amen. |
