Declare His honour unto the heathen and His wonders unto all the people.

:

For the Lord is great, and cannot worthily be praised: He is more to be feared than all gods.

As for all the gods of the heathen, they are but idols: but it is the Lord that made the heavens.

Glory and worship are before Him: power and honour are in His sanctuary.

Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people : ascribe unto the Lord worship and power.

And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

1 Wherefore, brethren, be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the

Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another, and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.

Second Week.

The Angels worship in heaven. From the Revelations of St. John the Divine.

ND after these things, I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: for true and righteous are His judgments. . And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye His servants, and ye that fear Him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be

Third Week.

Decency and reverence in Divine worship.

From the Book of Ecclesiastes, and from St. Paul's First Epistle to the Corinthians.

'K'

EEP thy foot when thou goest

to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thy heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things_be done unto edifying. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Let all things

be done decently and in order.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it. Them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon Mine altar; for Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

God of Israel, Amend your ways
and your doings, and I will cause
you to dwell in this place. Trust
ye not in lying words, saying, The
temple of the Lord, The temple of
the Lord, The temple of the Lord,
are these.
For if ye thoroughly
amend your ways and your doings;
if ye thoroughly execute judgment
between a man and his neighbour;
if ye oppress not the stranger, the
fatherless, and the widow, and shed
not innocent blood in this place,
neither walk after other gods to
your hurt: then will I cause you
to dwell in this place, in the land
that I gave to your fathers, for ever
and ever. Behold, ye trust in lying
words, that cannot profit. Will ye
steal, murder, and commit adultery,
and swear falsely, ... and walk
after other gods whom ye know not;
and come and stand before Me in
this house, which is called by My
name, and say, We are delivered to
do all these abominations? Is this
house, which is called by My name,
become a den of robbers in your
eyes? Behold, even I have seen it,
