My Doctrine is not VII. 16, mine, but his that fent me. 17, 18. If any Man will do his Will He fhall know of the Doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of my felf. He that fpeaketh from himself feeketh his own Glory. But he that feeketh his Glory that fent him the fame is true, and there is no Unrighte- • oufnefs in him. Rom. XV. 6, 7.

N. B. Eufebius, who was fo great a Master of the original Books of our Religion, is fo full and clear concerning this Inferiority and Subordination of the Son, and the other Propofitions depending on it, that I cannot forbear tranfcribing one or two Paffages from him upon this Occafion; and defire the Learned Dr. Cave to reconcile it to his Affertion that Eufebius was no Arian, if he can. Son to have life in himfelf. Wherefore he teaches us, that the Father is our God, and his God, when he fays, I return unto my Father and your Father, to my God and your God. And the great Apoftle teaches us, that God is the head of the Son, and the Son the head of the Church, faying, But the head of Chriftis God.Belides,fpeaking of the Son, And he gave him to be head over all things for the Church, which is his Body, wherefore he is the Governor of the Church, and its Head; but the head of him is the Father. This is the One God, the Father of the only begatten, and the only head of Chrif himself. When there is therefore one Origin and Head, how can there be two Gods? Is not He alone fuch who has no one above him, nor reckons 3, ny other for his Author Who is poffefs'd of a proper, unoriginated, and unbegotten Divinity, with Monarchical Power? and communicates to the Sou out of his own Divinity
