Violence: An Integrated Multivariate Study of Human Aggression

الغلاف الأمامي
Dartmouth Pub., 1995 - 238 من الصفحات
This volume incorporates empirical and theoretical studies from all realms of human violence. The first part presents a bio-psycho-social study of violent prisoners. The probalistic research on the violence of the prisoners is supplemented by a situational analysis of a Danse-Macabre which leads to the act of violence or the violence avoidance cues which lead away from the violent act. Sexual violence is analyzed within the context of the rapist-victim dyad; violent drivers are presented as a special case on non-normative recklessness; inner-directed violence is presented in a study of suicide; and finally, a model of macro-violence is presented examining the Holocaust as a symbiotic entanglement between Nazis and Jews.
