God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ. Eph. ii. 4, 5. Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. Gal. i. 4. He is the Mediator of the new testament. Heb. ix. 15. I am the Way, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John xiv. 6. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Cor. i. 9.
