This book was cooked in the cauldron of an active life. No Ivory Tower studiousness here! Like a good Cajun Gumbo, the ingredients come from many facets of life. Family relationships, ministry, health and illness, birth and death, joy and depression, success and pathos are all ingredients in our lives. The roux is our relationship with our Creator. Christianity is simply the relationship between our Heavenly Father and people. The Good News is simple, fishermen and commonfolk have often understood that better than scholars.
