CHAP. XVII. Christ transfigured.

22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

CHAP. XVIII.

AT the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, say

f19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? t 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a ing, Who is the greatest in grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

d 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

And while they abode in

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, t*3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4Whosoever therefore shall

CHAP. XVIII.

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

t 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth, shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in hea

t*20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Jesus had finished

CHAP. XIX.

12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receiveit. *13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray:and the disciples rebuked them. d 14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me:

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter
