To witness God's eternal love;

My God, my life, my love,

To thee, to thee I call,

I cannot live if thou remove,
For thou art all in all.

Thou art the sea of love,

Where all my pleasures roll;
The circle where my passions move,
And centre of my soul.

Rejoice, the Lord is King!
Your God and King adore:
Mortals, give thanks and sing!
And triumph evermore!

Lift up the heart, lift up the voice,
Rejoice aloud, ye saints rejoice!

Rejoice in glorious hope:
Jesus the judge shall come,
And take his servants up

To their eternal home!

We soon shall hear the archangel's voice
The trump of God shall sound "rejoice."
