It exists only in contemplation of law, and by force of the law; and where that law ceases to operate, and is no longer obligatory, the corporation can have no existence. It must dwell in the place of its creation, and cannot migrate to another sovereignty.þ
ÇáÕÝÍÉ 204 - Be it known that as well in own name as for and in the name and names of all and every other person or persons to whom the same doth, may, or shall appertain, in part or in all...þ
ÇáÕÝÍÉ 138 - A wife cannot bind herself either with or for her husband, otherwise than as being common as to property ; any such obligation contracted by her in any other quality is void and of no effect.þ

ÇáÕÝÍÉ 85 - No suit shall be maintained in any court for the recovery of any duties alleged to have been erroneously or illegally exacted, until the decision of the Secretary of the Treasury shall have been first had on such appeal...þ
ÇáÕÝÍÉ 201 - ... from the clouds upon it. This duty is not, in a technical sense, a judicial one, for it does not concern the administration of justice between citizens; but it is of a judicial nature, for it requires, as I have said, the same qualities of deliberation and judgment. It admits of a choice of means, and the determination of the order of time in which improvements shall be made.þ
