TREASURER'S REPORT OF THE HOME MISSION AND SUPPLEMENTAL FUND. THE following is a condensed Statement of the Receipts and Disbursements of the Treasurer during the past year: The Receipts of 1854, as compared with those of 1853, show a decrease of £143. 18s. 4d. on the total amount. Congregational Collections show a decrease of eight, and an increase of £36. 48. in the amount. Congregational Associations show a decrease of two, and an increase of £4. 148. 10d. in the amount contributed through them. Juvenile Missionary Associations show an increase of seven in operation, and of £18. 178. 3d. in the amount they contribute to the fund. Donations exhibit a decrease of £210. 118. 6d. It will thus be seen, that while the regular sources on which the fund depends for support have yielded an excess of £66. 138. 2d. over last year, this increase is much overbalanced by the great deficiency in the amount raised by Donations for which a special appeal was made in 1853. The Payments, compared with those of last year, show an increase of £42. 4s. 8d. The Treasurer would embrace the present opportunity of again pressing upon Congregations the importance of the formation of Associations, without which the funds of the Mission cannot be maintained in a satisfactory position. The Collections that have come in for the present year show in general a falling off, as compared with those of the past year. Forty-five Collections received yield only £295. 10s. 4d., while £360. 28. 8d. from the same Congregations was received in Collections in 1854. Manchester, 31st March, 1855.
