Ans. Prayer is an offering up of Resp. In petitione quinta, cujus is, 'And forgive us our debts as verba sunt [Ac remitte nobis debita we forgive our debtors,' we pray nostra, sic ut remittimus debitoribus that God, for Christ's sake, would nostris] precamur ut Deus peccata freely pardon all our sins; which nostra omnia gratis velit propter we are the rather encouraged to Christum condonare, quod quidem ask, because by his grace we are ut petamus eo magis animus nobis enabled from the heart to forgive fit, quod aliis animitus condonare others.
