bour hath been loft upon you! Your fins witness against you, for though you say you believe, yet John denies the truth of all such professions, whilst the profeffor lives in sin-If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, (the darkness of fin) we lie and do not the truth, 1 John i. 6. and again, He that faith I know him, (viz. CHRIST) and keepeth not bis commandments, is a LIAR and the truth is not in him, I John ii. 4.
How many, alas ! how many liars are there, who will be believers, or would be thought to be such, though they are in darkness and unbelief, giving proof of it by their ungodly deeds. Let all such hear--hear and remember the words of our Lord, He that believeth on him is not condemned, but be that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God, John iii. 18. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved ; but he that bělieveth not shall be damned, Mark xvi. 16. These words awfully true, fully assert the impossibility of unbelievers (who die such) coming where Christ is, in the glory of heaven.-May God turn you for his great name's sake. Amen.

HRISTIANS, in your fev'ral stations,
Dutiful to all relations,
2 Parents, be to children tender,
To your parents, in the LORD.
'Tis the precept of the word.
Wives, to husbands yield subjection,
Cherish, as yourselves, your wives.
To the scriptures square your lives.
4 Servants, serve your masters truly, Not unfaithful, not unruly,
To the good-nor to the bad Not refusing when you're bidden, Nor replying when you're chidden:
'Tis the ordinance of God.
5 This shall solve th' important question, Whether thou’rt a real christian,
Better than each golden dream. Better far than lip-expression, Tow'ring notions, great profession,
This Thall shew your love to him.
