THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ST. MARK. THE CHAPTER I. HE beginning of the gospel of 2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4 John did baptize in the wilder ness, and preach the baptism of re pentance for the remission of sins. 5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. 6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; 7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. 8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. 9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: 11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 裏洗、他 上他傳 來、將道 就用說、裹、的 看有都 神的兒子耶穌基督福音的起頭先知書上記著說我 曠野有人聲喊蚪說豫備主的道修直了他的路照這話有約翰在曠野施洗傳悔改的洗禮使罪得赦 猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人出去。 開你能自 了們 己有 施更的約 靈洗。大 翰遣 彷○的、惡、在我 彿那在在 鴿時我約 子、侯、以但施 降耶後 河洗、在 來、受 你 他悔面 他從 頭 上 ㄡˇ 有 聲 音 的改前 豫 洗備 翰禮、你 穿使的 駱罪道 駝得路、 來、輕 毛赦。在 12 And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. 13 And he was there in the wilder ness forty days tempted of Satan; 干你來滅我們宀 and was with the wild beasts; and 滅 the angels ministered unto him. 14 Now after that John was put 們 in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. 18 And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him. 19 And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets. 20 And straightway hecalled them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him. 21 And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught. 22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. 23 And there was in their syna 爲他教訓人正如去 了兄 耶弟 庇 訓 留 他 穌 。 從 得 正 雇 裏 麽、如 我有 曉 權 人 在 得柄 是 工 稍 往 在 誰、不從見 就同 是那 是誰就是 神的聖者耶穌責 堂 穌裏 他個 說、被 西是 庇太留他和雇工人在船上跟從了耶穌〇到了迦百農耶穌就在安息日進了會堂教訓人衆人聽他的教訓都甚詫異因 了耶穌從那裏稍往前走又看見西庇太的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網耶穌叫他們來他們就别了父親西 兄弟安得烈在海裏撒網他們本是打魚的人耶穌對他們說來跟從我我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣他們就丟下網跟從 加利利傳 神國的福音說日期到了、神的國近了你們應當悔改信福音〇耶穌在加利利的海邊行走看見西門和他 聖靈就叫他往曠野去他在那裏住了四十日受撒但的試探和野獸同住並且有天使服事他〇約翰下監以後耶穌到了 兄跟 不邪安弟從 作附 日、翰 要鬼息約 聲、著進 從的 這 人 身 上 11 26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. 27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, Whatthing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. 28 And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee. 29 And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they en tered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever; and anon they tell him of her. 31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and im mediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them. 32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. 33 And all the city was gathered together at the door. 34 And he healed that were many sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils ; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him. 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. 36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. 37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. 38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth. 39 And he preached in their syna gogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils. 道他、鬼, 道趕鬼 鬼。 尋 找 你。 耶 穌 說 的邪邪 岳鬼、鬼 穌 人 的 來 聲 我他。被 告 名 就 鬼 往天附 附未的、穌 近亮到 的的耶 鄉時穌 村候 去、耶 我 也早合 要早 鬼不許鬼說話因爲鬼認識他〇天未亮的時候耶穌早早起來到曠野去在那裏禱告西門和他的同伴追了耶穌來遇見 時候有人帶著一切患病的被鬼附 的岳母患熱病躺臥有人來告訴耶穌耶穌前去拉那婦人的手扶他起來熱病立刻退了婦人就服事他們到晚上日落的 邪鬼叫那人抽了一陣瘋大聲喊着就出來了衆人驚訝彼此問說這是怎樣的事這是甚麽新道理呢因爲他用權柄吩咐 加利利的四方了〇衆人出了會堂耶穌和雅各約翰進了西門安得烈的家裏西門 裏來合城的人都聚集在門前耶穌醫好許多患各樣病的人又趕出許多 40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 41 And Jesus, moved with com passion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. 42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed. 43 And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away; 44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. 45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert : places and they came to him from every quarter. 癱 穌、 穌、叉 瘋用 的四 人個 說、人 小擡 子、著 得 進有 前、 就多 拆人 那聚 在野外居住人從四方都就了他來 淨了獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物在眾人面前作憑據那人出去竟說許多的話傳揚這件事叫耶穌以後不得明顯進城只好 立刻離了他的身人就乾淨了耶穌叫他去切切的囑咐他說你要謹慎不可告訴人要去抖祭司察看你的身體因爲你乾 〇有一個長廂的人來求他跪下說你若肯必能叫我乾淨了耶穌發了憐憫的心伸手摸他說我肯你乾淨了罷說著癩病 !了幾日耶穌又進迦百農人聽見他在屋裏就有許多人聚集連門外都沒有空地了耶穌對他們講道有人帶一個患癱 樣信他就對患癲瘋的人說小子你的罪赦了 房頂旣拆通了將患癱瘋的人連牀都繫下來耶穌見他們這 好乾 頂、連 既門 拆外 通都 了、沒 6 But there were certain of the 曉諭、 scribes sitting there, and reasoning 生與坐也 in their hearts, 8 And immediately, when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? 9 Whether is it easier to say to the 來就 sick of the palsy, Thy sins be for-否對 given thee; or to say, Arise, and take 是他那 up thy bed, and walk ? 10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) me. 11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. 12 And immediately he arose, took 要門 呌徒 義說 人他 up the bed, and went forth before 更 them all; insomuch that they were 眾在 過昐 有幾個讀書人坐在那 C+11 生患病的人緣用得著我來不是要叫義人悔改是要叫罪人悔改 與稅吏並罪人同席吃飯就對他門徒說他爲甚麽與稅吏並罪人一同吃喝呢耶穌聽見就對 十五 all amazed, and glorified God, saying, 改。大爚你 We never saw it on this fashion. 13 And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resort ed unto him, and he taught them. 14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alpheus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow And he arose and followed him. 15 And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and they followed him. 16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? 17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. 說 健和 壯 的利穌他,現 人賽在那人 用人、利 裏訓 |
