爲我們開路也已經進入幔內就照著麥基洗德的等次永遠爲祭司長 望 神所許的福的人心裏就大有安慰了我們所指望的已經進入幔内又安穩又堅固爲心所靠就如船靠錨一般耶穌 道他的意旨永不改變所以起誓證實了他的話既有這兩件永不改變的事、神在這事上决不謊言我們這避難堅心指 爲沒有比自己更大可以指著起誓的就指著自己起誓說我必賜福給你必叫你子孫衆多這樣亞伯拉罕就 著所應許的世人起誓都是指著比自己大的起誓起了誓事已定準爭論便都息了 神要使那將來得應許的人確實知 樣殷勤就可以實有指望到底你們不要懶惰總要效那篤信忍耐得蒙 神應許的人當初 鯽應許亞伯拉罕的時候因 你們爲 神的名行仁愛的事先前服事聖徒如今還服事聖徒、神不是不公義必不忘你們這功勞我願你們各人都這

亞伯拉罕祝福從來位分大的這位小
旣已更變律法自然也應當更變因爲這話所指的是別的支派的人那支派裏從來沒有一人在壇上獻祭
芬能得完全又何用再立別的祭司說他是照著麥基洗德的等次不照著亞倫的等次呢民所受的律法與這祭司的職汞本是有關涉的現在這祭司職分
附他們將百姓的土物十分中取一分這麥基洗德雖不入他們的家譜卻將亞伯拉罕所得的十分中取一分爲蒙應許的
中取一分供給他這人是何等的尊貴那得祭司職分的利未子孫雖與百姓都是亞伯拉罕的後代都是弟兄律法上仍盼
祖的時候利未已經在先祖的體中民受律法就是利未子孫得祭司職分的時候人若倚靠這祭司
受十分之一的利未也可以說他同著亞伯拉罕將十分之一供給麥基洗德
順這是不能駁的理那尋常受十分之一的都是將來必死的人惟這受十分
人若倚靠利未子孫所得的祭司職

因爲麥基 職尕能得完全叉何用再立別的祭司說他是照著麥基洗德的等次不照著亞倫的等次呢"

11 If therefore perfection were by

the Levitical priesthood, (for under
it the people received the law,) what^

further need was there that another

priest should rise after the order of

Melchisedec, and not be called after

the order of Aaron?

12 For the priesthood being

changed, there is made of necessity

a change also of the law.

13 For he of whom these things

are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attend

ance at the altar.

神面前耶穌為祭司乃是 神起誓立的那些人爲祭司並不是起誓立的 神曾向耶穌起誓說我起了誓決不改變你是 等次永遠爲祭司先前的法度輕弱無益所以廢了因爲律法不能成全一樣惟有新賜更美的道使我們有指望能進到 或作律法要更變更是分明了他立爲祭司不是照著世上的法度乃是因著永生的大能因爲 神說你是照著麥基洗德的 我主分明是從猶大支派裏出來的這支派摩西未會吩咐受祭司的職分旣說再立別的祭司彷彿麥基洗德那祭司職尕 "多的因爲有死不能長為祭

照著麥基洗德的等次永遠爲祭司這樣耶穌就作了更美的約的中保那些祭司相繼

爲他們禱告他是 司耶穌既是永存的他的祭司職分也是永不更改的凡靠著他進到 神面前的人他都能拯救到底因爲他是永遠活著

14 For it is evident that our Lord

sprang out of Juda; of which tribe

Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

16 Who is made, not after the

law of a carnal commandment, but 虔

after the power of an endless life.

17 For he testifieth, Thou art a

priest for ever after the order of

Melchisedec.

18 For there is verily a disannul

ling of the commandment going be

fore for the weakness and unprofit

ableness thereof.

19 For the law made nothing

perfect, but the bringing in of a

better hope did; by the which we

draw nigh unto God.

20 And inasmuch as not without

an oath he was made priest:

21 (For those priests were made

without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him,

The Lord sware and will not repent,

Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec :)

22 By so much was Jesus made

a surety of a better testament.

23 And they truly were many 樣

priests, because they were not suffered

to continue by reason of death:

24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

26 For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who

is consecrated for evermore.

CHAPTER VIII.

OW of the things which we

have spoken this is the sum:

We have such a high priest, who is

set on the right hand of the throne

of the Majesty in the heavens;

2 A minister of the sanctuary,

and of the true tabernacle, which

the Lord pitched, and not man.

3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that

there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when

he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a

better covenant, which was estab

lished upon better promises.

7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8 For finding fault with them, he

saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new

covenant with the house of Israel

and with the house of Judah :

事了按著律法是立懦弱的人爲祭司長惟 神在律法以後起誓立子永遠爲祭司長 他不像別的祭司長每日必先爲自己獻贖罪的祭後爲百姓獻贖罪的祭耶穌將己身獻上這一次就完成了獻贖罪祭的

約的中保也自然得了更美的祭司職分前約若沒有虧欠就無處立後約了論到前約有虧欠經上說我將來必與以色列 他說你要謹慎作各樣的物件都要照著在山上指示給你的樣式如今設立新約所許的福是美的耶穌既作了更美的 祭司他若在地上就不能爲祭司他們事奉 神就是在天上事奉 神的影像就如摩西將要造成帳幕的時候神吩咐 是在人所設的帳幕裏凡祭司長都是爲獻禮上祭設立的所以他也必當有可獻的物地上既已有照著律法供獻禮物的 我們所講的總要就是我們有這樣的祭司長坐在天上大主宰寶座的右邊作執事在聖所就是在主所設的眞帳幕裏不
