44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida,

the city of Andrew and Peter.

45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found

him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth ? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49 Nathanael answered and saith

unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God ; thou art the King of Israel.

50 Jesus answered and said unto

him, Because I said unto thee, I saw

thee under the fig tree, believest

thou? thou shalt see greater things

than these.

water pots with water. And they filled

them up to the brim.

8 And he saith unto them, Draw

out now, and bear unto the governor

of the feast. And they bare it.

9 When the ruler of the feast had

tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was, (but the servants which drew the water knew,) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

11 This beginning of miracles did

Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his dis

ciples believed on him.

12 T After this he went down to

Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples; and they continued there not many days. 13 | And the Jews'passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, 14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: 15 And when he had made a scourge

of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers'

money, and overthrew the tables;

他們就倒滿了到了缸口 耶穌又說舀出來遞給管筵席的人他們就遞給他水變了酒管筵席的嘗著不知道是那裏來的
們甚麼你們就作甚麼照猶太人潔淨的規矩有六口石缸擺在那裏每口可以盛兩三桶水耶穌對僕人說將水倒滿了缸
酒用盡了耶穌的母親對耶穌說他們酒沒有了耶穌說母親我與你何干我的時候還沒有到他母親對僕人說他吩咐你

子的並有兌換銀錢的人在那裏坐著耶穌就拿繩子做成鞭子將他們和牛羊都趕出聖殿傾掉換銀錢的人的銀錢推
親弟兄門徒都下迦伯農去在那裏住了不多幾日猶太人的逾越節近了耶穌就上耶路撒冷去在聖殿裏見有賣牛羊鴿

第三章 信了他的名耶穌卻不將自己託付他們因爲他知道衆人也不用人告訴他別人怎樣人心裏所存的他早已知道了 徒縐想起他說過這話就信了聖經和耶穌所說的話當逾越節的時候耶穌在耶路撒冷有許多人看見他所作的奇事就 猶太人說這殿四十六年纔造成你三日內就能建造起來應耶穌這話是將殿比自己的身子到耶穌從死裏復活以後門 興我們看耶穌回答說你們拆毀這殿我三日內就建造起

們叫凡信他的不至滅亡必得永生 神差他兒子降世不是要定世人的罪是要叫世人因他得救。 過天摩西在曠野舉蛇人子也必如此被舉起來叫凡信他的人不至滅亡必得永生 憐愛世人甚至將獨生子賜給他 信我們所見證的我說地上的事你們尚且不信若說天上的事如何能信呢除了從天降下來仍舊在天的人子沒有人升 以色列人的先生還不曉得這事麽我實在告訴你我們所說的是我們知道的我們所見證的是我們看見的無奈你們不 的聲音卻不曉得從那裏來往那裏去凡從聖靈生的都是如此尼哥底母問他說如何能有這樣事呢耶穌回答說你是 不能進 神的國從肉身生的就是肉身從靈生的就是靈我說你們必須重生你不可以爲希奇風隨著意思吹你聽見風 尼哥底母說人已經老了如何能重生豈能再進母親腹中生出來呢耶穌說我實在告訴你人若不是從水和聖靈生的必

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I

say unto thee, Except a man be born

of water and of the Spirit, he cannot

enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh

is flesh; and that which is born of

the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto

thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,

and thou hearest the sound thereof,

but canst not tell whence it cometh,

and whither it goeth: so is every

one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel,

and knowest not these things?

11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

12 IfI have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

14 T And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in

him should not perish, but have
