2 A gwedd-newidiwyd ef ger eu bron hwy a'i wyneb a ddisgleiriodd fel yr haul, a'i ddillad oedd cyn wynned a'r goleuni.

3 Ac wele, Moses ac Elias a ymddangosodd iddynt, yn ymddiddan âg ef.

4 A Phetr a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrth yr Iesu, O Arglwydd, da yw i ni fod yma: os ewyllysi, gwnawn yma dair pabell; un i ti, ac un i Moses, ac un i Elias.

5 Ac efe etto yn llefaru, wele, cwmmwl goleu a'u cysgododd hwynt: ac wele, lef o'r cwmmwl, yn dywedyd, Hwn yw fy anwyl Fab, yn yr hwn y'm boddlonwyd: gwrandewch arno ef.

6 A phan glybu y disgyblion hynny, hwy a syrthiasant ar eu hwyneb, ac a ofnasant yn ddirfawr.

7 A daeth yr Iesu, ac a gyffyrddodd â hwynt, ac a ddywedodd, Cyfodwch, ac nac ofnwch.

8 Ac wedi iddynt ddyrchafu eu llygaid, ni welsant neb ond yr Iesu yn unig.

9 Ac fel yr oeddynt yn disgyn o'r mynydd, gorchymynodd yr Iesu iddynt, gan ddywedyd, Na ddywedwch y weledigaeth i neb, hyd oni adgyfodo Mab y dyn o feirw.

10 A'i ddisgyblion a ofynasant iddo, gan ddywedyd, Paham gan hynny y mae yr ysgrifenyddion yn dywedyd, fod yn rhaid dyfod o Elias yn gyntaf?

11 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Elias yn wir a ddaw yn gyntaf, ac a edfryd bob peth.

12 Eithr yr ydwyf fi yn dywedyd

2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

12 But I say unto you, That Elias

i chwi, ddyfod o Elias eisoes; is come already, and they knew ac nad adnabuant hwy ef, ond him not, but have done unto him gwneuthur o honynt iddo beth whatsoever they listed. 13 Yna y deallodd y disgyblion mai am Ioan Fedyddiwr y dywedasai efe wrthynt.

14 Ac wedi eu dyfod hwy at y dyrfa, daeth atto ryw ddyn, ac a ostyngodd iddo ar ei liniau,

15 Ac a ddywedodd, Arglwydd, trugarhâ wrth fy mab, oblegid y mae efe yn lloerig, ac yn flin arno: canys y mae efe yn syrthio yn y tân yn fynych, ac yn y dwfr yn fynych. 16 Ac mi a'i dygais ef at dy ddisgyblion di, ac ni allent hwy ei iachâu ef.

17 A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd, O genhedlaeth anffyddlawn a throfäus, pa hyd y byddaf gyd â chwi? pa hyd y dioddefaf chwi? dygwch ef yma attaf fi.

18 A'r Iesu a geryddodd y cythraul; ac efe a aeth allan o hono: a'r bachgen a iachâwyd o'r awr honno.

19 Yna y daeth y disgyblion at yr Iesu o'r neilldu, ac y dywedasant, Paham nad allem ni ei fwrw ef allan?

13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

15 Lord, have mercy on my son; for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

20 A'r Iesu a ddywedodd wrth- 20 And Jesus said unto them, Beynt, Oblegid eich anghrediniaeth: cause of your unbelief: for verily canys yn wir y dywedaf i chwi, Pe I say unto you, If ye have faith as bai gennych ffydd megis gronyn o a grain of mustard seed, ye shall had mwstard, chwi a ddywedech say unto this mountain, Remove wrth y mynydd hwn, Symmud oddi | hence to yonder place; and it shall yma draw, ac efe a symmudai; ac remove: and nothing shall be imni bydd dim ammhosibl i chwi. possible unto you.

21 Eithr nid â y rhywogaeth hyn allan, ond trwy weddi ac ympryd. 22 Ác fel yr oeddynt hwy yn aros yn Galilea, dywedodd yr Iesu wrthynt, Mab y dyn a draddodir i ddwylaw dynion:

23 A hwy a'i lladdant, a'r trydydd dydd y cyfyd efe. A hwy a aethant yn drist iawn.

22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:

23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

24 And when they were come

25 Yntau a ddywedodd, Ydyw. Ac wedi ei ddyfod ef i'r tŷ, yr Iesu a achubodd ei flaen ef, gan ddywedyd, Beth yr wyt ti yn ei dybied, Simon? gan bwy y cymmer brenhinoedd y ddaear deyrnged neu dreth? gan eu plant eu hun, ynte gan estroniaid?

26 Petr a ddywedodd wrtho, Gan estroniaid. Yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho, Gan hynny y mae y plant yn rhyddion.

27 Er hynny, rhag i ni eu rhwystro hwy, dos i'r môr, a bwrw fach a chymmer y pysgodyn a ddêl i fynu yn gyntaf; ac wedi i ti agoryd ei safn, ti a gei ddarn o arian: cymmer hwnnw, a dyro iddynt drosof fi a thithau.

PENNOD XVIII.

Ayam hono y daeth y diywedyd, Pwy sydd fwyaf yn nheyrnas nefoedd ?

R yr awr honno y daeth

2 A'r Iesu a alwodd atto fachgennyn, ac a'i gosododd yn eu canol hwynt;

3 Ac a ddywedodd, Yn wir y dy. wedaf i chwi, Oddi eithr eich troi chwi, a'ch gwneuthur fel plant bychain, nid ewch chwi ddim i mewn i deyrnas nefoedd.

4 Pwy bynnag gan hynny a'i gostyngo ei hunan fel y bachgennyn hwn, hwnnw yw y mwyaf yn nheyrnas nefoedd.

5 A phwy bynnag a dderbynio gyfryw fachgennyn yn fy enw i, a'm derbyn i.

6 A phwy bynnag a rwystro un o'r rhai bychain hyn a gredant ynof fi, da fyddai iddo pe crogid maen melin am ei wddf, a'i foddi yn eigion y môr.

25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

27 Notwithstanding, should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his month, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

CHAPTER XVIII.

T the same time came the dis

Aciples unto Jesus, saying, Who

is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

7 Gwae y byd oblegid rhwystrau: canys anghenrhaid yw dyfod rhwystrau; er hynny gwae y dyn hwnnw trwy yr hwn y daw y rhwystr.

8 Am hynny os dy law neu dy droed a'th rwystra, tor hwynt ymaith, a thafl oddi wrthyt: gwell yw i ti fyned i mewn i'r bywyd yn gloff, neu yn anafus, nag â chennyt ddwy law, neu ddau droed, dy daflu i'r tân tragywyddol.

9 Ac os dy lygad a'th rwystra, tyn ef allan, a thafl oddi wrthyt: gwell yw i ti yn un-llygeidiog fyned i mewn i'r bywyd, nag â dau lygad gennyt dy daflu i dân uffern.

10 Edrychwch na ddirmygoch yr un o'r rhai bychain hyn: canys yr ydwyf yn dywedyd i chwi, fod eu hangelion hwy yn y nefoedd, bob amser yn gweled wyneb fy Nhad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd.

11 Canys daeth Mab y dyn i gadw yr hyn a gollasid.

12 Beth dybygwch chwi? O bydd gan ddyn gant o ddefaid, a myned o un o honynt ar ddisberod; oni åd efe yr amyn un cant, a myned i'r mynyddoedd, a cheisio yr hon a aeth ar ddisberod?

13 Ac os bydd iddo ei chael hi, yn wir meddaf i chwi, y mae yn llawenhâu am honno mwy nag am yr amyn un cant y rhai nid aethant ar ddisberod.

14 Felly nid yw ewyllys eich Tad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd, gyfrgolli yr un o'r rhai bychain hyn.

15 Ac os pecha dy frawd i'th erbyn, dos, ac argyhoedda ef rhyngot ti ac ef ei hun. Os efe a wrendy arnat, ti a ynnillaist dy frawd.

16 Ac os efe ni wrendy, cymmer gyd â thi etto un neu ddau, fel y'ngenau dau neu dri o dystion y byddo pob gair yn safadwy.

17 Ac os efe ni wrendy arnynt

7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh !

8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

12 How think ye? if a man have a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

15 ¶ Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear

hwy, dywed i'r eglwys: ac os efe | them, tell it unto the church: but ni wrendy ar yr eglwys chwaith, if he neglect to hear the church, bydded ef i ti megis yr ethnig a'r let him be unto thee as a heathen publican. man and a publican.

18 Yn wir meddaf i chwi, Pa bethau bynnag a rwymoch ar y ddaear, fyddant wedi eu rhwymo yn y nef: a pha bethau bynnag a ryddhâoch ar y ddaear, a fyddant wedi eu rhyddhâu yn y nef.

19 Trachefn meddaf i chwi, Os cydsynia dau o honoch ar y ddaear am ddim oll, beth bynnag a'r a ofynant, efe a wneir iddynt gan fy Nhad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd. 20 Canys lle mae dau neu dri wedi ymgynnull yn fy enw i, yno yr ydwyf yn eu canol hwynt.

21 Yna y daeth Petr atto ef, ac a ddywedodd, Arglwydd, pa sawl gwaith y pecha fy mrawd i'm herbyn, ac y maddeuaf iddo? ai hyd seithwaith?

22 Yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho, Nid ydwyf yn dywedyd wrthyt, Hyd seithwaith: ond, Hyd ddengwaith a thriugain seithwaith.

23 Am hynny y cyffelybir teyrnas nefoedd i ryw frenhin a fynnai gael cyfrif gan ei weision.

24 A phan ddechreuodd gyfrif, fe a ddygwyd atto un a oedd yn ei ddyled ef o ddeng mil o dalentau.

25 A chan nad oedd ganddo ddim i dalu, gorchymynodd ei arglwydd ei werthu ef, a'i wraig, a'i blant, a chwbl a'r a feddai, a thalu y ddyled.

26 A'r gwas a syrthiodd i lawr, ac a'i haddolodd ef, gan ddywedyd, Arglwydd, bydd ymarhous wrthyf, a mi a dalaf i ti y cwbl oll.

27 Ac arglwydd y gwas hwnnw a dosturiodd wrtho, ac a'i gollyngodd, ac a faddeuodd iddo y ddyled.

28 Ac wedi myned o'r gwas hwnnw allan, efe a gafodd un o'i gyd-weision yr hwn oedd yn ei ddyled ef o gàn ceiniog: ac efe a

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?. till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants..

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, which owed him a hundred pence: and he laid hands on him,
