7 Gwae y byd oblegid rhwystrau: canys anghenrhaid yw dyfod rhwystrau; er hynny gwae y dyn hwnnw trwy yr hwn y daw y rhwystr.

8 Am hynny os dy law neu dy droed a'th rwystra, tor hwynt ymaith, a thafl oddi wrthyt: gwell yw i ti fyned i mewn i'r bywyd yn gloff, neu yn anafus, nag â chennyt ddwy law, neu ddau droed, dy daflu i'r tân tragywyddol.

9 Ac os dy lygad a'th rwystra, tyn ef allan, a thaf oddi wrthyt: gwell yw i ti yn un-llygeidiog fyned i mewn i'r bywyd, nag dau lygad gennyt dy daflu i dân uffern.

10 Edrychwch na ddirmygoch yr un o'r rhai bychain hyn: canys yr ydwyf yn dywedyd i chwi, fod eu hangelion hwy yn y nefoedd, bob amser yn gweled wyneb fy Nhad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd.

11 Canys daeth Mab y dyn i gadw yr hyn a gollasid.

12 Beth dybygwch chwi? O bydd gan ddyn gant o ddefaid, a myned o un o honynt ar ddisberod; oni ad efe yr amyn un cant, a myned i'r mynyddoedd, a cheisio yr hon a aeth ar ddisberod?

13 Ac os bydd iddo ei chael hi, yn wir meddaf i chwi, y mae yn llawenhâu am honno mwy nag am yr amyn un cant y rhai nid aethant ar ddisberod.

14 Felly nid yw ewyllys eich Tad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd, gyfrgolli yr un o'r rhai bychain hyn.

15 Ac os pecha dy frawd i'th erbyn, dos, ac argyhoedda ef rhyngot ti ac ef ei hun. Os efe a wrendy arnat, ti a ynnillaist dy frawd.

16 Ac os efe ni wrendy, cymmer gyd â thi etto un neu ddau, fel y'ngenau dau neu dri o dystion y byddo pob gair yn safadwy.

17 Ac os efe ni wrendy arnynt

7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

12 How think ye? if a man have a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

15¶ Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear

hwy, dywed i'r eglwys: ac os efe | them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as a heathen man and a publican.

ni wrendy ar yr eglwys chwaith, bydded ef i ti megis yr ethnig a'r publican.

18 Yn wir meddaf i chwi, Pa bethau bynnag a rwymoch ar y ddaear, fyddant wedi eu rhwymo yn y nef: a pha bethau bynnag a ryddhaoch ar y ddaear, a fyddant wedi eu rhyddhâu yn y nef.

19 Trachefn meddaf i chwi, Os cydsynia dau o honoch ar y ddaear am ddim oll, beth bynnag a'r a ofynant, efe a wneir iddynt gan fy Nhad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd. 20 Canys lle mae dau neu dri wedi ymgynnull yn fy enw i, yno yr ydwyf yn eu canol hwynt.

21 Yna y daeth Petr atto ef, ac a ddywedodd, Arglwydd, pa sawl gwaith y pecha fy mrawd i'm herbyn, ac y maddeuaf iddo? ai hyd seithwaith?

22 Yr Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho, Nid ydwyf yn dywedyd wrthyt, Hyd seithwaith: ond, Hyd ddengwaith a thriugain seithwaith.

23 Am hynny y cyffelybir teyrnas nefoedd i ryw frenhin a fynnai gael cyfrif gan ei weision.

24 A phan ddechreuodd gyfrif, fe a ddygwyd atto un a oedd yn ei ddyled ef o ddeng mil o dalentau.

25 A chan nad oedd ganddo ddim i dalu, gorchymynodd ei arglwydd ei werthu ef, a'i wraig, a'i blant, a chwbl a'r a feddai, a thalu y ddyled.

26 A'r gwas a syrthiodd i lawr, ac a'i haddolodd ef, gan ddywedyd, Arglwydd, bydd ymarhous wrthyf, a mi a dalaf i ti y cwbl oll.

27 Ac arglwydd y gwas hwnnw a dosturiodd wrtho, ac a'i gollyngodd, ac a faddeuodd iddo y ddyled.

28 Ac wedi myned o'r gwas hwnnw allan, efe a gafodd un o'i gyd-weision yr hwn oedd yn ei ddyled ef o gàn ceiniog: ac efe a

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatso ever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?. till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants..

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, which owed him a hundred pence: and he laid hands on him,

ymaflodd ynddo, ac a'i llindagodd, and took him by the throat, saying, gan ddywedyd, Tâl i mi yr hyn Pay me that thou owest. sydd ddyledus arnat.

29 Yna y syrthiodd ei gyd-was wrth ei draed ef, ac a ymbiliodd âg ef, gan ddywedyd, Bydd ymarhous wrthyf, a mi a dalaf i ti y cwbl oll.

30 Ac nis gwnai efe: ond myned a'i fwrw ef y'ngharchar, hyd oni thalai yr hyn oedd ddyledus.

31 A phan welodd ei gyd-weision y pethau a wnelsid, bu ddrwg dros ben ganddynt: a hwy a ddaethant ac a fynegasant i'w harglwydd yr holl bethau a fuasai.

32 Yna ei arglwydd, wedi ei alw ef atto, a ddywedodd wrtho, Ha was drwg, maddeuais i ti yr holl ddyled honno, am i ti ymbil â

mi:

33 Ac oni ddylesit tithau drugarhâu wrth dy gyd-was, megis y trugarhêais innau wrthyt ti?

34 A'i arglwydd a ddigiodd, ac a'i rhoddodd ef i'r poenwyr, hyd oni thalai yr hyn oll oedd ddyledus iddo.

35 Ac felly y gwna fy Nhad nefol i chwithau, oni faddeuwch o'ch calonnau bob un i'w frawd eu camweddau.

PENNOD XIX.

29 And his fellow servant fell down at his feet, and. besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto, their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

CHAPTER XIX.

ABU, pan orphenodd yr Iesu yr AND it came to pass, that when

ymadroddion hyn, efe a ymadawodd o Galilea, ac a ddaeth i derfynau Judea, tu hwnt i'r Iorddonen :

2 A thorfeydd lawer a'i canlynasant ef; ac efe a'u hiachâodd hwynt yno.

3 A daeth y Phariseaid atto, gan ei demtio, a dywedyd wrtho, Ai cyfreithlawn i wr ysgar â'i wraig am bob achos?

4 Ac efe a attebodd ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Oni ddarllenasoch i'r hwn a'u gwnaeth o'r dechreu, eu gwneuthur hwy yn wrryw a banyw?

Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judea beyond Jordan;

2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

4 And he answered and said unto

them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

i'r làn arall, hwy a ollyngasant come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

dros gôf gymmeryd bara ganddynt. 6 A'r lesu a ddywedodd wrthynt, Edrychwch ac ymogelwch rhag surdoes y Phariseaid a'r Saduceaid.

7 A hwy a ymresymmasant yn eu plith eu hunain, gan ddywedyd, Hyn sydd am na chymmerasom fara gennym.

8 A'r Iesu yn gwybod, a ddywedodd wrthynt, Chwychwi o ychydig ffydd, paham yr ydych yn ymresymmu yn eich plith eich hunain, am na chymmerasoch fara gyd â chwi?

9 Onid ydych chwi yn deall etto, nac yn cofio pum torth y pum mil, a pha sawl basgedaid a gymmerasoch i fynu?

10 Na saith dorth y pedair mil, a pha sawl cawellaid a gymmerasoch i fynu?

11 Pa fodd nad ydych yn deall, nad am fara y dywedais wrthych, ar ymogelyd rhag surdoes y Phariseaid a'r Saduceaid?

12 Yna y deallasant na ddywedasai efe am ymogelyd rhag surdoes bara, ond rhag athrawiaeth y Phariseaid a'r Saduceaid.

13 Ac wedi dyfod yr Iesu i dueddau Cesarea Philippi, efe a ofynodd i'w ddisgyblion, gan ddywedyd, Pwy y mae dynion yn dywedyd fy mod i, Mab y dyn ?

14 A hwy a ddywedasant, Rhai, mai Ioan Fedyddiwr, a rhai, mai Elias, ac eraill, mai Jeremias, neu un o'r prophwydi.

15 Efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Ond pwy meddwch chwi ydwyf fi? 16 A Simon Petr a attebodd ac a ddywedodd, Ti yw y Crist, Mab y Duw byw.

17 A'r Iesu gan atteb a ddywedodd wrtho, Gwyn dy fyd di, Simon mab Jona: canys nid cig a gwaed a ddatguddiodd hyn i ti, ond fy Nhad yr hwn sydd yn y nefoedd.

Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?

9. Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Cesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I, the Son of man, am?

14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist; some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18 Ac yr ydwyf finnau yn dy- | 18 And I say also unto thee, That wedyd i ti, mai ti yw Petr, ac ar y thou art Peter, and upon this rock graig hon yr adeiladaf fy eglwys; I will build my church; and the a phyrth uffern nis gorchfygant gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

hi.

19 A rhoddaf i ti agoriadau teyrn- 19 And I will give unto thee the as nefoedd a pha beth bynnag a keys of the kingdom of heaven: rwymech ar y ddaear, a fydd | and whatsoever thou shalt bind on rhwymedig yn y nefoedd; a pha earth shall be bound in heaven; beth bynnag a ryddhâech ar y and whatsoever thou shalt loose on ddaear, a fydd wedi ei ryddhâu earth shall be loosed in heaven. yn y nefoedd.

20 Yna y gorchymynodd efe i'w ddisgyblion, na ddywedent i neb mai efe oedd Iesu Grist.

21 O hynny allan y dechreuodd yr Iesu ddangos i'w ddisgyblion fod yn rhaid iddo fyned i Jerusalem, a dioddef llawer gan yr henuriaid, a'r arch-offeiriaid, a'r ysgrifenyddion, a'i ladd, a chyfodi y trydydd dydd.

22 A Phetr, wedi ei gymmeryd ef atto, a ddechreuodd ei geryddu ef, gan ddywedyd, Arglwydd, trugarha wrthyt dy hun; nis bydd hyn i ti.

23 Ac efe a drodd, ac a ddywedodd wrth Petr, Dos yn fy ol i, Satan: rhwystr ydwyt ti i mi: am nad ydwyt yn synied y pethau sydd o Dduw, ond y pethau sydd o ddynion.

24 Yna y dywedodd yr Iesu wrth ei ddisgyblion, Os myn neb ddyfod ar fy ol i, ymwaded âg ef ei hun, a chyfoded ei groes, a chanlyned fi. 25 Canys pwy bynnag a ewyllysio gadw ei fywyd, a'i cyll: a phwy bynnag a gollo ei fywyd o'm plegid i, a'i caiff.

26 Canys pa lesâd i ddyn, os ynnill efe yr holl fyd, a cholli ei | enaid ei hun? neu pa beth a rydd dyn yn gyfnewid am ei enaid?

27 Canys Mab y dyn a ddaw yn ngogoniant ei Dad gyd â'i angelion; ac yna y rhydd efe i bawb yn ol ei weithred.

28 Yn wir y dywedaf wrthych, Y mae rhai o'r sawl sydd yn sefyll yma, a'r ni phrofant angau, hyd

20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan : thou art an offence unto me for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of

men.

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see
