gwas arall eithr hwy a gurasant ac a ammharchasant hwnnw hefyd, ac a'i hanfonasant ymaith yn wag-law.

12 Ac efe a chwanegodd anfon y trydydd: a hwy a glwyfasant hwn hefyd, ac a'i bwriasant ef allan. 13 Yna y dywedodd arglwydd y winllan, Pa beth a wnaf? Mi a anfonaf fy anwyl fab: fe allai pan welant ef, y parchant ef.

14 Eithr y llafurwyr, pan welsant ef, a ymresymmasant â'u gilydd, gan ddywedyd, Hwn yw yr etifedd: deuwch, lladdwn ef, fel y byddo yr etifeddiaeth yn eiddom ni. 15 A hwy a'i bwriasant ef allan o'r winllan, ac a'i lladdasant. Pa beth gan hynny a wna arglwydd y winllan iddynt hwy?

16 Efe a ddaw ac a ddifetha y llafurwyr hyn, ac a rydd ei winllan i eraill. A phan glywsant hyn, hwy a ddywedasant, Na atto Duw. 17 Ac efe a edrychodd arnynt, ac a ddywedodd, Beth gan hynny yw hyn a ysgrifenwyd, Y maen a wrthododd yr adeiladwyr, hwn a wnaethpwyd yn ben y gongl?

18 Pwy bynnag a syrthio ar y maen hwnnw, a ddryllir: ac ar bwy bynnag y syrthio, efe a'i mâl

19 A'r arch-offeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion a geisiasant roddi dwylaw arno yr awr honno; ac yr oedd arnynt ofn y bobl: canys gwybuant mai yn eu herbyn hwynt y dywedasai efe y ddammeg hon.

20 A hwy a'i gwyliasant ef, ac a yrrasant gynllwynwyr, y rhai a gymmerent arnynt eu bod yn gyfiawn; fel y dalient ef yn ei ymadrodd, i'w draddodi yn meddiant, ac awdurdod y rhaglaw.

21 A hwy a ofynasant iddo ef, gan ddywedyd, Athraw, ni a wyddom mai uniawn yr ydwyt ti

12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.

13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?

16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. 17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people for they per ceived that he had spoken this parable against them.

20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.

21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither ac

22 Ai cyfreithlawn i ni roi teyrnged i Cesar, ai nid yw?

23 Ac efe a ddeallodd eu cyfrwysdra hwy, ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Paham y temtiwch fi? 24 Dangoswch i mi geiniog. Llun ac argraff pwy sydd arni? A hwy a attebasant ac a ddywedasant, Yr eiddo Cesar.

25 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Rhoddwch chwithau yr eiddo Cesar i Cesar, a'r eiddo Duw i Dduw.

26 Ac ni allasant feio ar ei eiriau ef ger bron y bobl: a chan ryfeddu wrth ei atteb ef, hwy a dawsant â son.

27 ¶ A rhai o'r Saduceaid (y rhai sydd yn gwadu nad oes adgyfodiad) a ddaethant atto ef, ac a ofynasant iddo,

28 Gan ddywedyd, Athraw, Moses a ysgrifenodd i ni, Os byddai farw brawd neb, ac iddo wraig, a marw o hono yn ddi-blant, ar gymmeryd o'i frawd ei wraig ef, a chodi had i'w frawd.

29 Yr oedd gan hynny saith o

:

22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Cesar, or no?

23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?

24 Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Cesar's.

25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Cesar the things which be Cesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.

26 And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.

27 ¶ Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,

28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

29 There were therefore seven

frodyr a'r cyntaf a gymmerodd brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.

wraig, ac a fu farw yn ddi-blant. 30 A'r ail a gymmerth y wraig, ac a fu farw yn ddi-blant.

31 A'r trydydd a'i cymmerth hi: ac yr un ffunud y saith hefyd, ac ni adaw sant blant, ac a fuont feirw. 32 Ac yn ddiweddaf oll bu farw y wraig hefyd.

33 Yn yr adgyfodiad gan hynny gwraig i bwy un o honynt yw hi? canys y saith a'i cawsant hi yn wraig.

34 A'r Iesu gan atteb a ddywedodd wrthynt, Plant y byd hwn sydd yn gwreicca, ac yn gŵra:

35 Eithr y rhai a gyfrifir yn deilwng i gael y byd hwnnw, a'r adgyfodiad oddi wrth y meirw, nid ydynt nao yn gwreicca, nac yn gŵra.

30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.

31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.

32 Last of all the woman died also.

33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.

34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36 Canys nis gallant farw mwy: oblegid cyd-stad ydynt â'r angelion; a phlant Duw ydynt, gan eu bod yn blant yr adgyfodiad.

37 Ac y cyfyd y meirw, Moses hefyd a hysbysodd wrth y berth, pan yw ef yn galw yr Arglwydd yn Dduw Abraham, ac yn Dduw Isaac, ac yn Dduw Jacob.

38 Ac nid yw efe Dduw y meirw, ond y byw: canys pawb sydd fyw

iddo ef.

39 Yna rhai o'r ysgrifenyddion gan atteb a ddywedasant, Athraw, da y dywedaist.

40 Ac ni feiddiasant mwyach ofyn dim iddo ef.

41 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Pa fodd y maent yn dywedyd fod Crist yn fab i Dafydd?

42 Ac y mae Dafydd ei hun yn dywedyd yn llyfr y Psalmau, Yr ARGLWYDD a ddywedodd wrth fy Arglwydd, Eistedd ar fy neheulaw, 43 Hyd oni osodwyf dy elynion yn droed-fainge i'th draed di.

44 Y mae Dafydd gan hynny yn ei alw ef yn Arglwydd; a pha fodd y mae efe yn fab iddo?

45 Ac a'r holl bobl yn clywed, efe a ddywedodd wrth ei ddisgyblion, 46 Ymogelwch rhag yr ysgrifenyddion, y rhai a ewyllysiant rodio mewn dillad lleision, ac a garant • gyfarchiadau yn y marchnadoedd, a'r prif-gadeiriau yn y synagogau, a'r prif-eisteddleoedd yn y gwleddoedd ;

47 Ý rhai sydd yn llwyr-fwytta tai gwragedd gweddwon, ac mewn rhith yn hir-weddio: y rhai hyn a dderbyniant farn fwy.

36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.

40 And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.

41 And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?

42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

44 David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?

45 Then in the audience of all the

people he said unto his disciples, 46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

47 Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

CHAPTER XXI.

into the treasury.

2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

3 And he said, Of a truth I say

meddaf i chwi, fwrw o'r wraig weddw dlawd hon i mewn fwy nâ hwynt oll.

4 Canys y rhai hyn oll o'r hyn oedd weddill ganddynt a fwriasant at offrymmau Duw: eithr hon o'i phrinder a fwriodd i mewn yr holl fywyd a oedd ganddi.

5 Ac fel yr oedd rhai yn dywedyd am y deml, ei bod hi wedi ei harddu â meini teg a rhoddion, efe a ddywedodd,

6 Y pethau hyn yr ydych yn edrych arnynt, daw y dyddiau yn y rhai ni adewir maen ar faen, a'r nis dattodir.

7 A hwy a ofynasant iddo, gan ddywedyd, Athraw, pa bryd gan hynny y bydd y pethau hyn? a pha arwydd fydd pan fo y pethau hyn ar ddyfod?

8 Ac efe a ddywedodd, Edrychwch na thwyller chwi: canys llawer a ddeuant yn fy enw i, gan ddywedyd, Myfi yw Crist; a'r amser a nesâodd: nac ewch gan hynny ar eu hol hwynt.

9 A phan glywoch sôn am ryfeloedd a therfysgoedd, na chymmerwch fraw: canys rhaid i'r pethau hyn fod yn gyntaf; ond ni ddaw y diwedd yn y man.

10 Yna y dywedodd efe wrthynt, Cenedl a gyfyd yn erbyn cenedl, a theyrnas yn erbyn teyrnas:

11 A daear-grynfâau mawrion a fyddant yn amryw leoedd, a newyn, a heintiau, a phethau ofnadwy, ac arwyddion mawrion a fydd o'r nef.

12 Eithr o flaen hyn oll, hwy a roddant eu dwylaw arnoch, ac a'ch erlidiant, gan eich traddodi i'r synagogau, ac i garcharau, wedi eich dwyn ger bron brenhinoedd a llywodraethwyr o achos fy enw i. 13 Eithr fe a ddigwydd i chwi yn dystiolaeth.

14 Am hynny rhoddwch eich bryd ar na rag-fyfyrioch beth a

unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

15 Canys myfi a roddaf i chwi enau a doethineb, yr hon nis gall

16 A chwi a fradychir, ïe, gan rieni, a brodyr, a cheraint, a chyfeillion; ac i rai o honoch y parant farwolaeth.

17 A chas fyddwch gan bawb o herwydd fy enw i.

18 Ond ni chyll blewyn o'ch pen chwi.

19 Yn eich amynedd meddienwch eich eneidiau.

20 A phan weloch Jerusalem wedi ei hamgylchu gan luoedd, yna gwybyddwch fod ei hanghyfannedd-dra hi wedi nesâu.

21 Yna y rhai fyddant yn Judea, fföant i'r mynyddoedd; a'r rhai a fyddant yn ei chanol hi, ymadawant a'r rhai a fyddant yn y meusydd, nac elont i mewn iddi.

22 Canys dyddiau dïal yw y rhai hyn, i gyflawni yr holl bethau a ysgrifenwyd.

23 Eithr gwae y rhai beichiogion, a'r rhai yn rhoi bronnau, yn y dyddiau hynny : canys bydd angen mawr yn y tir, a digofaint ar y bobl hyn.

24 A hwy a syrthiant trwy fin y cleddyf, a chaeth-gludir hwynt at bob cenhedlaeth: a Jerusalem a fydd wedi ei mathru gan y Cenhedloedd, hyd oni chyflawner amser y Cenhedloedd.

25 A bydd arwyddion yn yr haul, a'r lleuad, a'r sêr; ac ar y ddaear ing cenhedloedd, gan gyfyng-gynghor; a'r môr a'r tonnau yn rhuo;

26 A dynion yn llewygu gan ofn, a disgwyl am y pethau sydd yn dyfod ar y ddaear: oblegid nerthoedd y nefoedd a ysgydwir.

27 Ac yna y gwelant Fab y dyn yn dyfod mewn cwmmwl, gyd â gallu a gogoniant mawr.

28 A phan ddechreuo y pethau

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

18 But there shall not a hair of your head perish.

19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21 Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin
